How to Answer the Interview Question “Are you willing to work overtime?”
Explanation of the Question:
The employer only asks this question there is a large amount of overtime or the employer is having trouble getting their current staff to work overtime. You need to be honest if you are willing to give a general answer.
Example Interview Answer
“yes, I did a lot of overtime in my last company”
Don’t put up any barriers or start to confuse the employer by saying “I can work overtime on a Monday 6-8, Wednesday 8-9 etc..” keep it simple.
If you cannot, tell the employer this and give the reason why.
