Are you more like Person A or Person B?

Person A

  • Possess a few common key skills IE communication, teamwork, and reliability
  • No or little paid work experience
  • No or little voluntary work experience
  • Never been involved, or only for a short period of time, in a club (scouts, band, performing arts, etc)
  • Haven’t had a significant role in school/college IE student ambassador or prefect
  • Not actively involved in any school/college projects
  • Haven’t been involved in many team events such as the duke of Edinburgh award, sports club, computer club

Person B

  • Have a mixture of different skills and qualities gained from various work opportunities, projects and voluntary work
  • Had a part-time job
  • Undertook a long period of work experience and/or voluntary work
  • Created a successful project using various skills and knowledge IE business enterprise project, created a website, app, or game
  • Gets involved and leads on school/college projects and/or been a prefect or other significant role
  • Been highly involved in team events such as the duke of Edinburgh award, sports club, computer club
  • Was a key member of a club or been part of a club for a long time (scouts, band, performing arts, etc)
  • Had a significant role in school/college IE student ambassador or prefect
